Support Ontario Youth Scholarships

Support Ontario Youth knows that a strong financial plan is the backbone of successfully completing an apprenticeship journey. We are proud to work alongside partner organizations to provide a range of scholarships to apprentices. These scholarships, such as the SOY Education Scholarship and the BOLT Women in Construction Grant, help support skilled trades apprentices in achieving their goals.

OYAP (Ontario Young Apprenticeship Program)

Heavy Metal Summer Experience

Heavy Metal Summer Experience (HMSE) is a summer camp program exposing youth to sheet metal, piping and plumbing trades. Campers have the opportunity to explore different trades!

CAWIC

CAWIC provides educational bursaries each year to help empower women to take the first steps in their successful construction career. Each year, the CAWIC Bursary Committee awards outstanding women with $2,000 bursaries. The program is open to women in construction-related programs. Once a student submits their application and supporting materials, the CAWIC Bursary Committee of volunteers from across the construction industry reviews the applications received, and recipients are then selected based on meeting the required criteria.
