The Ottawa Construction Association (“OCA”) through it’s Education Committee is focused on promoting career opportunities in the construction industry. Construction work is extremely rewarding. What we build matters to our communities. We can point to our accomplishments with great pride. The industry has a wide variety of amazing careers that offer interesting and rewarding work, and very competitive compensation. Those opportunities include design, management and hands on work. OCA Careers is a central site that provides construction career information and interviews with people doing the work, links to other career opportunity and development sites, information about and links to education and co-op programs, outreach opportunities to meet with people doing the work, and actual construction careers that are available. Our industry needs people and we are focusing on facilitating a connection between those interested in or looking for a career in the construction industry.
